The minerd took me out to the site today for the first time. I had just been playing solitaire in their offices until now. It was pretty cool to see the big pit. Its pretty crazy how big and pit like it is. It made me feel weird and kind of empty or shallow. I tried to call Sara when I got home to talk about it but she was out. Probably out having fun and not missing me. I hope not. First tinges of home sickness today so I watched some Friends episode at the hotel. Ross helped me forget for awhile how far away from home I am. Not much time to mope though, the minerds are picking me up to go see some Aussie concert that is supposed to rock. The Slayer of this country or something. Should be good, I need a good drink. The weather was great today finally.
