Day Ten in Australia

Well I am not even going to talk about the cricket lessons last night. Im not even going to talk about what happened after with the minerds on the car ride home. Needless to say, guy guy chomraderie after sports here is a little different than it is back home. It was good to have a day off today. Great to wake up to a sunny day all to myself. After a nice breakfast of slap jackys (pancakes) and some 'roo juice I headed off to the beach for some sun. Its not super hot out, only 20 but still warm enough for me to take my shirt off and feel the sand underneath my skin and go for a swim and walk on the beach and buy an ice-lolly (popsicle). I was lucky enough to see a kangaroo on the beach which is rare and super great. I was amazed when I saw it. I thought about chasing it but I remember my brother telling me that they can rip your guts out with your claws so I only chased it with my eyes. Lots of people have picknicks on the beach today and I was hoping one of the Minogue sisters would be out to help remind me of Sara. I am starting to forget what she looks like. It will help to speak with her tomorrow on our weekly Sunday chat. I got a little sunburnt today so I am going to the chemist-weird but appropriate-name for the pharmacy. I am supposed to meat up with the minerd tonight to play an Aussie drinking game but Im still a little weirded out by yesterday night. Well I just get super drunk and it should be okay.
If anyone speaks to my mother tell her Im okay and having a great time.
Conor
